I grew up in central North Dakota. I am the oldest of three children. It was in North Dakota that I gained my passion for the outdoors. Besides being with my family and friends, I love to hunt, fish, ATV, hike, run and workout. This is one of the reasons that I love Wright County, it is a great place to enjoy the outdoors with its many lakes and parks.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Tammy, for 25 years. It was a transfer with Tammy’s job that brought us to Wright County after completing college. We have called it home ever since. We have two wonderful children. Our son, Devin, is attending Minnesota State University Moorhead where he is pursuing a degree in Business Management. He is also a college athlete, he participates and competes in cross country and track (Go Dragons). Our Daughter, Brianna, attends high school in Maple Lake where we live. Brianna is a member of Student Council, Irish Mentors and the National Honor Society. She also enjoys volleyball and track.
We are a very active family in our community and we believe strongly in volunteering our time, especially with the youth. I have been involved with the following community activities:
•BUFFALO POLICE RESERVE OFFICER
•ACTIVE MEMBER OF ST. TIMOTHY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH
•MEMBER OF THE MAPLE LAKE/ANNANDALE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
•RELIGION TEACHER AT ST. TIMOTHY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH
•CUB SCOUT DEN LEADER
•BOY SCOUT COMMITTEE MEMBER

I WOULD LOVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE YOUR NEXT WRIGHT COUNTY SHERIFF. I AM COMMITTED TO KEEPING WRIGHT COUNTY A WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE, WORK, RECREATE AND RAISE OUR FAMILIES.
